How does Public Cloud billing work?
Your monthly base includes a resource allocation. Usage above that allocation is charged at the published rates. Small, Medium and Large plans have resource ceilings; Enterprise has no preset ceiling. Resource ceilings are not monetary spending caps.
How does Dedicated Cloud billing work?
You pay for a fixed resource allocation and divide it across one or multiple VMs. There are no hourly resource charges or automatic usage overages. Upgrade the allocation through the billing platform when more capacity is required.
Is Dedicated Cloud the same as Private Cloud?
Dedicated Cloud is a fixed resource allocation on the Sharktech cloud platform. Private Cloud is exclusive physical infrastructure designed for one organization.
Do VM sizes determine my bill?
Resources are accounted for across your cloud, rather than by named VM shapes. Public Cloud meters aggregate usage above the included allocation. Dedicated Cloud bills the fixed allocation you order.
How is API access secured?
Both models include OpenStack API access restricted to approved source IPs. Use the simplified portal for everyday management or compatible APIs and tools for automation.
